And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it; that the love wherewith you have loved me may be in them, and I in them.     John 17:26

Grace and peace be unto you from God our Father and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  How exciting and what a great accomplishment Saint Matthews Church Family that we have come through a great time of consecration together.  We have made a purposeful and concerted effort to move corporately toward the prize of the high calling in Christ Jesus.     We have pressed forward with the single mindset to grow in the knowledge of Christ through the disciplines of prayer, fasting and daily bible reading.  As Pastor, I also encouraged you that as we move through this journey of consecration together, we will experience personal victory in the process.   Scripture tells us in Matthew 6:33 that when we seek God first all things [beneficial to us for life and godliness] will be added to our lives.  We are confident that great testimonies will spring forth.

It is our prayer, in agreement with the Lord’s prayer in John 17:26, that the greatest testimony will be that God has deposited His love in our hearts.  Love is the fruit that remains, it supersedes the greatest of gifts, it covers a multitude of sins, it will make us go the extra mile and when demonstrated among the saints it glorifies God and expands His kingdom.  Love is the gift that keeps on giving in exponential ways.  It is both a conqueror and unconquerable.  Love is in the person of the Holy Spirit. Love is in the sacrificial expression of the cross of Christ. Love is God.  And to our friends and visitors it is also our prayer that as you visit us in cyberspace or in the space of our sanctuary that you are impacted by the love of God that has been imparted in us.

Thank you for visiting our website and we encourage you to continue to do so.  We would also love to have you as our personal guest.

Wishing you God’s best in 2015,

Pastor Kevin C. Hardy
